Irene Trakas se traslada recientemente desde EE UU a vivir en el campo de Frigiliana. Sus estudios incluyen un B.A. (Bachelor of Arts) en Bellas Artes de Eckerd College (St. Petersburg, Florida) y un MFA (Master en Bellas Artes) de American University (Washington DC). Sus obras en pintura han formado parte de exposiciones individuales y colectivas en Florida, Carolina del Sur, Washington DC y Nueva York. Su trabajo se centra en las sutilezas del color como fuente y vehículo de expresión artística.

Irene Trakas recently moved from her home in the US to live in the countryside in Frigiliana.  She received a B.A. in Art at Eckerd College (ST. Petersburg, Florida), and an MFA at American University in Whaington, DC.  Her paintings have been part of collective and solo shows in Florida, South Carolina, Washington DC and New York. Her work focuses on the nuances of color as a means of expressing space.
